Pumpkin Spice Scones and Early Autumn Mornings

For Breakfast I'm making Pumpkin Spice Scones.

Don't they look yummy?!

They are. Very.

And you can make some too!

Get the recipe Here.

(Shhh! They're SO Easy!)

Make them this morning and we'll eat breakfast together and catch up on each other's news.

I love the time of year when the sky stays dark longer. It makes me feel like I'm up earlier - I love mornings! Although my night owl tendencies usually mean that I miss the early morning all together and I end up greeting the world at eight. I love the sense of the world waking up - it does, you know - and starting life again - The Bustle of people going to work, grabbing their coats and their coffee, greeting bleary eyed, yawning others.
And now that I'm a mom of small children, the later sunrises mean that my kids sleep in longer. Which I love because I don't wake up to them crying or yelling MOM!
Quiet, reflective mornings are the best, curled up with my herbal tea and Pumpkin Spice Scones - Which I'm going to make right now, since the family is still asleep and the house is still quiet and all mine!

Good Morning!

Oh my gosh. Those look amazing. I bet they taste amazing, too. And if they're as easy as you say they are...

Autumn mornings are wonderful when I can stay in bed and not have to take my kids to the bus stop at the crack of dawn (or what seems like the crack of dawn since it's so dark outside!)

Glad to find you blog!
